Litter S

Coho and Chinook were street dogs who benefited from some very kind humans who support these dogs by running food lines. Our humans built the trust of these two through the food lines and eventually managed to rescue them. At the point of rescue, Coho was almost ready to give birth to her puppies. Another very kind human took this couple into their home, gave them a clean and safe space to nest, and a soft den where Coho birthed her pups. Eventually the rescue reached out to Doglando Foundation to ask if we could take on this beautiful family.

We’re so happy that we were able to take in these amazing creatures. Now Coho, Chinook, and puppies are entrenched in the Doglando Foundation Puppy B.R.E.A.T.H. Program. The family lives in our den and is supported by our volunteers, which includes experts from Doglando who are experienced in canine enrichment. The dogs spend their days playing, interacting with adults, children, and other dogs who attend Doglando’s Enrichment facility.

Among many other things, they’re learning how to socialize, how to recall using their names, and how to use the grass for potty needs. As we move forward, we’ll continue to strengthen their trust and skills by introducing them to the pool. This is a magical and fulfilling time for both dogs and humans involved in this litter.
